RCP Marketing is looking for an experienced Full Stack Application Developer with 5-10 years of experience to join our team. We are especially interested in someone who can support the development and deployment of long-term business systems solutions using modern frameworks. Experience with Microsoft .NET Core, C#, SQL, JSON/AJAX, Angular/AngularJS, and HTML/CSS. Also contribute to client solutions using traditional open-source technologies as well as develop for data aggregation via API. This position offers a variety of interesting projects working in a creative setting in downtown Grand Rapids.

Responsibilities And Duties

  • Write and maintain enterprise-level applications and collaborate with other developers to manage projects
  • Assist with development and enhancements to our customized WordPress content management systems using PHP/MySQL and various JavaScript libraries
  • Meet or exceed quarterly goals as set by team lead or project manager
  • Collaborate with other developers on best practices and coding standards
  • Attend all training sessions and meeting sessions when scheduled
  • Contribute to company culture in a positive way
  • Meet deadlines established by the technology manager and account team leaders
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Communicate and work collaboratively
  • Self-manage, drive initiatives and execute tasks to completion

Qualifications And Skills

  • A firm understanding of MVC, the Microsoft Entity Framework, .NET Core/Razor, JSON, SQL, and HTML/CSS3
  • Familiarity with open source frameworks and WordPress is a big plus (Linux, Apache, MySQL/MariaDB, PHP)
  • Firm understanding of C# and modern JavaScript libraries
  • The ability to learn quickly and solve problems that range in complexity
  • A solid understanding of making API calls, interfacing with backends and using that information to perform tasks and present views on the frontend
  • A solid understanding of GIT and GIT-based workflows
